Spring in Europe is one of the most glorious experiences on earth and the Honolulu Museum of Art has partnered with cultural travel expert Benefactor Travel to design a once-in-a-lifetime art trip to France and Spain—just in time to see the May flowers bloom.

From May 17-24, 2018, join museum Director Sean O’Harrow on a journey to Paris, Bordeaux, and Bilbao featuring exclusive off-hours museum tours and visits to private collections and artists’ studios. The experience also includes feasts of French and Basque culinary masterpieces—both traditional and contemporary.

Sean was born in Paris and considers France his second home—he looks forward to sharing his favorite museums, restaurants, and sights with you!

Trip highlights include:

  • A stay at the 5-star luxury hotel Le Meurice, where Salvador Dalí was a frequent guest
  • A tasting and tour at La Cité du Vin, outside Bordeaux, and a tranquil stay at the spa and resort Les Sources de Caudalie
  • A private tour of the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and a gala dinner at the revolutionary Michelin-starred restaurant Nerua
  • A luxury coach tour of San Sebastián’s famed public sculptures
