Art Club is a quarterly event at Spalding House that gathers artists of all ages to make art in a fun group setting—the museum supplies the materials and theme, and participants use their creativity and technique. Art Club currently hosts events for young artists and their teachers (grades 6-12) and adult artists (ages 18+). The next Art Club theme is “It’s Alive!” will be held on August 20, 2016 and will feature young artists. Young artists will be imagining and creating a new animal life form that is indigenous to the grounds at Spalding House. If you are an Art Teacher or Teaching Artist and would like to be a part of Art Club or know someone who might (including young artists), please contact Ryan Higa at 237-5242 or gro.muesumululonohnull@agihr for more information.
