Dazzling light display

Week 3 of our Garden of Reflection installation has produced some unexpected light effects and placement of reflective objects. Visitors like Makena and Alexandria, pictured below, are enjoying the colorful objects. With encouragement from visitors, we decided to install the Mylar pedals not in the ground but into Styrofoam sheets and place them in the pool. These islands of reflection may float freely or connect into a serpentine form swaying along the surface. We also installed Mylar pieces along the shaded wall of the museum which move in the wind and produce a dazzling light display.
