Please join us for our next teacher workshop, on June 13. This interactive session highlights the most engaging aspects of our guided school tours designed for early elementary learners. We offered a similar workshop last summer to provide teachers with a preview our tour content, to allow them to plan field trips for the year.  It was a great success. As one teacher noted: “It was amazing what you offer to students. I didn’t know what was available and I’m sure there are many other uninformed island educators.”

Each teacher will have the opportunity to experience a portion of five different tours. The highlighted tours are: Animals in Art, Elements of Art, Kamishibai: Japanese Storytelling, Mabuhay: Art of the Philippines, and The Holiday Tour. We will also introduce a visual strategy that will enable you to talk about any work of art with your students.  After a light lunch, head over to our Lending Collection to discover our collection of more than 13,000 art reproductions available for you to borrow.

Join us for a fun-filled morning to learn about the parts of our tours students remember best!  This workshop is designed especially for teachers of PK-2.

Parking and a light lunch are included.
Space is limited, so we encourage you to sign up for this workshop today.
