Opening Feb. 27 is a whole new experience at the museum—Andy Graydon’s sound installation Fig. 1. We’ve designed a workshop for Hawai‘i educators—come to the museum on Saturday, Feb. 28, for a sketching activity and a performance choreographed by the artist!

Originally from Maui, sound-and-media artist Andy Graydon returns to the islands for his installation Fig. 1, which will be in our John Dominis and Patches Damon Holt Gallery Feb. 27 to May 31.

On Saturday, Feb. 28, Andy Graydon will hold a performance related to his installation in Central Courtyard. We invite teachers to register in advance for a special free workshop developed around this auditory treat—come and sketch in Andy’s installation, watch Garden Paths performance, then have a conversation with the artist in the gallery. We guarantee you’ve never attended a workshop like this before.
