Abbey Day, our outreach program coordinator, has shared some wonderful presentations of two Art to Go sessions that ended in May. First we have a digital magazine (with music!) that instructor Noreen Watanabe put together. Leaf through to see the great artwork students at Moanalua Elementary made.
Then at Wai‘anae Elementary our instructors guided the 4th grade class in creating expressive portraits of Hawaiian monarchs (like the one pictured above) that the students had been studying. See the completed work, along with students’ reports here.
You’ll soon see new posts by Abbey about the museum’s outreach programs.
